A split-base riff on the Sazerac, this cocktail trades the original's bracing simplicity for something richer and more tropical. The cognac and rye provide a sturdy backbone of oak and spice, while banana liqueur adds an unexpected layer of creamy sweetness that rounds the sharper edges.
