Jumping the Shark

Preparation

Combine all ingredients with approximately one ounce of pebble ice in a cocktail shaker and whip shake for 8-10 seconds. Pour unstrained into a cocktail glass and fill with more pebble ice.

A tropical drink with genuine complexity, Jumping the Shark balances grassy agricole rum against bitter amaro and bright grapefruit, while orgeat adds silky sweetness and lime keeps everything taut. The amburana cachaca contributes a subtle warm spice that echoes the cinnamon garnish. It's a tiki-adjacent sipper that refuses to coast on sweetness alone.
