Preparation

Pack a tall glass or tiki coconut mug with crushed ice. In a shaker, combine the aged rum, white rhum agricole, lime juice, clement créole shruBï orange liqueur, orgeat syrup, vieux pontarlier or another absinthe verte, and simple syrup with three ice cubes and shake until chilled. Strain into the ice-filled tall glass. Garnish.

A split-base tiki drink that balances the grassy funk of agricole against the caramel depth of aged rum. The orgeat and orange liqueur provide nutty sweetness, while a measured dose of absinthe adds an herbal, anise-laced complexity that lifts the whole composition.
