The carajillo—a Spanish coffee drink traditionally made with brandy or rum—gets a Mexican spin here, swapping in reposado tequila for an earthy, slightly oaky backbone. Blended into a frozen slush, the drink balances bitter espresso and sweet vanilla-citrus notes from the Licor 43 against the tequila's subtle agave character. The texture is smooth and sippable, with a pinch of salt sharpening the coffee flavors and keeping the sweetness in check.
